Great location, great staff but old and in need of thorough cleaning.

The front desk seems to be open 24/7 and the staff is very welcoming and professional. The location is great. It's walking distance to the market where you can find restaurants, shops and a supermarket (Metro). You need to find the stairs that lead down there and skip the detour through the streets.

The place is old and not well maintained. It needs new furniture and proper cleaning. The bed sheets were clean and there was room service everyday. The problem is they only do surface level cleaning. It needs a lot more love.

They charge more than the total price, more than the taxes that are not included, and the swimming pool is not heated it was very cold.

Great budget stay. Was very close to the old market, has everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms are huge. Breakfast was different but good.

I felt very relaxed there so I would stay there again.

I liked this hotel very much, staff was friendly and supportive. The view was beautiful to admire daily, the location is great and I felt relaxed staying there.

Pillow & Bed sheets could have been ironed and top layer bedsheet had some stains. I could not draw the curtains to allow more light into the room or admire the beauty outside. Rooms need to be cleaned thoroughly and properly. Including sofa and chairs.

The quietness I felt , view and the helpful polite staff made me enjoy my stay

Overall I enjoyed my stay and would deffinately stay there again, staff are helpful, kind and polite. I liked the views, quietness at times and the beautifully cat with a beard.

The rooms they need to let sunshine in the room I had no access to remove the sheet blocking such a beautiful view.They need to do a better clean of the rooms as I found them not that clean the fridge, floor, sheets, sofa cushions, sick, was not cleaned. They also could do with descent chairs to sit on outside your room as the one there are ready to snap.

Cleanliness need alot ...if this happen, this resort will be in another ranking. Mosquito is a disaster really..very simply daily pesticide will solve the problem..

Good hotel, good price, friendly staff!

Nice hotel, very good value for the price! The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

We didn't have any towels and toilet paper at first, which was provided after we asked, but I guess this is a common thing.. Food was good but always the same dishes, that might be because we attended during Ramadan... Nonetheless we did enjoy our stay and would recommend this hotel!

Place is good for just sleep if you are familiar to Sharm el sheikh and not fussy that’s a good place to stay

A budget option very close to the Old Town.

I enjoyed the breakfast, it catered mainly for Egyptian guests on the buffet but staff would offer omlettes, bread, cheese and jam.

Nothing. The Aida may not exceed expectations for European visitors, no entertainment or a bar, however if you need a budget hotel close to town for a few nights then it's fine.

A good hotel for the price point with friendly staff

The hotel had a great view of the mosque which was nice at night time and it was within walking distance to there (20 minutes downhill). The men on reception were friendly and always willing to help. There is a bus to Farana Beach and a nice pool area with a dj on site. There is a distinct Greek vibe to the colour scheme in the hotel and in general it felt like an upscale resort for the price.

The room was a little tired but it was spacious and we had the luxury of a seated area also which was nice. There was an issue with the toilet not flushing however when we reported the issue it was fixed immediately. We had small (more hand sized) towels which worked for us though might not for all, and perhaps if we alerted reception they would have given us larger ones but we didn’t mind.

Contort Room

The hotel was generally nice. Rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast consisted of cheese and a single fried egg but was sufficient. The evening receptionist Said was very helpful and helped us find our Cairo tour. There are two pools in the hotel and one has an aqua park but the slides need maintenance. The fact that large groups of men are in the hotel makes family holidays unpleasant.

The view is soo soo nice and beautiful in the night, and the location is so strategic for backpacker to find public transportation and they gave us early checkin without extra fund ... Overall is good worth ur money!

Nothing, but for me as not an egyptian i dont enjoy so much the breakfast they had given but it okay and it taste good!
